Do you have an in-house or proprietary yeast that you would like improved?
Phyterra Yeast is offering end users, wineries and breweries a new and unique service. We can cross your strain with UCD 932 (a non H2S strain) and retain the great majority of its original attributes. In fact, we can retain 90%, 95% or even more of the features of the parent strain.

The lead acetate test strips on the right were suspended above fermentations with both wild type (WT) and enhanced strains. Results to right are after 16 days of fermentation. The test strip that was inside the wild-type fermentation carboy (left) turned black while the strip that was inside P1Y0 bottle (right) remained white –as above the colour intensity is relative to the amount of H2S present. |
